Wardrobe Magic... A simple term I use to describe the concept of making numerous outfits from a limited amount of separate pieces. Although it is common to often feel like you have nothing to wear, I believe that most closets are filled with outfit potentials & just need a little creativity in mixing and matching different pieces together. The key to mixing and matching lies in having items in your closet that are versatile.

One of the most versatile pieces you can own is a black blazer.  A black blazer can be dressed up, down, be worn in the fall, winter, or spring; it can serve as a jacket or a cover up and can go with any color, pattern or print. Do you need any more convincing that this is a closet essential? A blazer is traditionally known to go with a suit but the casual options are endless.

In these pictures notice that I only changed the bottoms from jeans, to a skirt, to leggings. So if you are a person that finds it hard to mix and match items in your wardrobe, take a hint from the pictures above.  I started with a blazer, a white t shirt, a statement bag and a pair of heels; from there I switched out the bottoms to get 3 easy outfits. This concept is second nature once you get the hang of it; and I will also be doing a post in the near future about staple items and closet overhauls so be sure you are subscribed to get all the tips.

This blazer can be the foundation piece of numerous outfits so I encourage you to have one for easy outfit creations. What items do you find most versatile in your wardrobe? Let me know in the comments.
