Introducing my favorite holiday pieces from M Renee Design!! If you've been following along on the blog you may know me as the fashion loving outfit creator but really, my first love is designing jewelry. This holiday season I went for sparkly statement pieces that go with anything from jeans and a t-shirt to an evening dress; and I wanted to introduce them on the most important shopping day of the year- Small Business Saturday.

Just to give a little history, about 5 years ago I started M Renee Design and joined millions of other entrepreneurs & started a small business.  As an entrepreneur I understand the struggle to compete against the big box retailers and the blood, sweat & tears that goes into running a business. That's why this post is dedicated to shopping small. Shop small Saturday started in 2010 as a reminder to the American consumer that small businesses are the backbone of our economy & need your support. (Read more about it here)

So since you still have holiday shopping to do I've put together a small business gift guide below with gifts for every person on your Christmas list.

 1. For the Jewelry Lover- M Renee Design jewelry. As you can see above I went for major sparkle for the statement pieces. Also, the new statement earrings were inspired by these J Crew earrings that are sold out & over three times the price! And take 20% off  today only with coupon code "SHOPSMALL".

2. For the Stylish Tech Woman- kmBaggies.  The coolest and cutest laptop bags that double as a purse.

3. For the Home Decor Lover- Pillow Flight. I discovered these while browsing the Internet & fell in love with all the patterns.

4. Turban Time- RosaLeeandBen Turbans. Remember my new obsession with Turbans from a few posts back? This online store has them in every color and fabric you could ever want.

5. For the Sophisticated Trendster-  Chen Burkett NY. African Inspired prints for the chicest blazers, skirts and much more. If you're a fan of Solange's style check out this online store.

6. For the Coffee Lover- Coffee AM. -We all know a coffee lover, this store has lots of unique flavors to add to their collection.

7. For the Stylish Kids- One Good Thread. The cutest clothes for any kids that love to stay in style.

8. For the Chocolate Lover- Moon Struck Chocolate. - Specialty Chocolate bars and hot chocolate with different flavors, fruits and other combinations.

10. For the Fashion Lover- Shoptiques. If you have anyone on your list that loves stylish clothes as much as I do, this is the perfect place to start.

So, I think that should cover everyone on your list. Don't forget, shopping small doesn't just give to the entrepreneur, it also gives to the local economy which in the end improves all of our communities. Send this list to all your family, friends and co workers and encourage them to SHOP SMALL!
