I can’t think of a better way to represent this week of love than a red leather midi skirt. I never thought I’d be the type to do color coded holiday posts but I couldn’t resist with this oh so perfect bright red skirt. Perfect for dressing up, perfect for dressing down, and perfect for this post since it's the week of Valentine’s Day.
I’m a firm believer that most skirts and dresses can be dressed up or down depending on the other pieces you wear with them, and this skirt illustrates my point exactly. If you have been reading along lately you have probably noticed that I've been on a wardrobe versatility rant, and if you have caught on I’m sure you are already discovering new ways to wear all the new and old pieces in your closet. So, in keeping with the theme I thought it would be good to show two ways to wear a leather skirt-
1. Fancy and dressed to impress. The first look for a leather skirt is perfect for date night or any other event that requires a dose of great style. Your favorite heels and leather jacket are the ideal pieces to achieve this look.
2. Casual, but still extremely stylish. The casual version of a leather skirt is great for work or any other event that requires an epic outfit that's not so fancy. Flat shoes and a jean jacket are the perfect combination to pull this look off.
These two outfit ideas for a leather skirt are perfect for dressing up and dressing down. Let me know which version is your favorite in the comments. Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day!
