We all know the saying- History tends to repeat itself & this rings true not only in life but also with fashion. Fashion trends always go in one big circle & it's a fact that if you wait long enough all trends will come back in style. As an 80's baby I only remember culottes because I had two older sisters who kept up with the latest styles & by the time I was old enough to pick out my own clothes the trend had come & gone. But... 25 years later the culotte has made a comeback, along with some other throwback trends that have creeped back into your favorite stores & runways. Here's a list of four trends that you thought were gone for good but are back in style...
1. Culottes- As you can tell from the pictures above this trend is super chic & also super comfortable. If you're into big comfy pants that could also look like a midi skirt, this trend is for you. It seems that culottes have been around for ages but they made their biggest impression in the 80's. Now they are back with a more sophisticated and dressy look.
2. Flare Jeans- This is one of my favorite throwback trends. Why? Because it looks amazing on so many different body types. From stick thin to curvy, the flare jeans have come all the way through history & have made a comeback to give an hourglass silhouette like no other denim can.
3. Overalls- Who ever would've thought overalls would come back? I definitely didn't expect this 90's trend to show up on celebrities and store shelves. This trend is for the absolute fashion risk taker & as you can see the overalls are worn with a much tighter fit.
4.Platform Heels- As a heel lover, it's hard for me to not love this trend. This trend is perfect for those petite women who would like a little height without as much discomfort. (Style Tip- Platform heels are often more comfortable than the average heel.) Read more about it here
